Every part of the app, explained

Friends Tournament does one job properly: getting a group of people through a tournament without anyone having to manage a spreadsheet. Here is exactly what that includes.

01

Tournament formats

League, knockout, round robin and teams

Pick the shape of the night in one tap. League puts everyone in the same points table, and every match feeds the standings — perfect for darts, mini-golf or a party game marathon. Knockout runs single-elimination rounds with a bracket view until one player is left. Round robin has everyone meet everyone, with rounds and byes generated automatically. Teams pairs players up and scores each team as one row.

Automatic schedule

Every match-up generated for you

A guided setup asks how many players you have, how many play at once and how many matches you want — then produces the whole fixture list, balanced and ordered. Returning groups get recent-player suggestions, so the second tournament is a couple of taps. No brackets drawn on a napkin, no arguments about who has already played whom.

Want to see a schedule before installing anything? The round robin generator runs the same maths in your browser.

Live leaderboard

Standings that update as you play

Save a result and the table re-sorts immediately: points, matches played, position, podium. Everyone can see exactly what they need in the final round, which is where the good tension comes from.

04

Solo or teams

From 1v1 to full squads

Play individually, in pairs, or in teams of any size. In team mode players are grouped into teams and each team is scored as a single row, so a doubles tournament works exactly the way a singles one does.

Custom scoring

Score the way your group already plays

Tap a player or team card to add a point, or tap the number for exact keypad entry. Every change is saved the moment you make it — there is no manual save step and nothing is lost if the app gets killed mid-match. Made a mistake? Correct the score and the standings recalculate.

Offline and private

No account, no wifi, tournaments stay on your phone

Everything runs on your device. There is nothing to sign up for and your tournaments are stored locally, so the app works in a garden, a basement, a boat or a plane. When it is over, share a results card straight to the group chat.
